  • Journey with Junior Tucker

Junior Tucker is a great friend and a great artist. He has performed with legends like Bob Marley. YouTube his name and you can see some really great videos.

I was given the privilege to design is past two album covers. This one is special to me because it is greatest hits since he started singing worship music. I am a big fan.

  • Life in HD

One of my favorite things to design are sermon series. I guess in my thoughts I almost feel like I am designing a movie poster. I don't know if it is the feeling of newness or expectation or wonder the audience feels when they see it for the first time, but it is definitely fun!

Here is a new sermon series design for Christ Fellowship. Check out our church pixels portfolio for more sermon series designs.

They are going to be using all three color options.

  • Not Afraid Book Cover Design

Two months ago I had the privilege to design the cover for Kelley Varner's new and final book, I Am Not Afraid of My Future. It was his first book for young people. You can order his final book and find out more information at www.kelleyvarner.org.

  • Coins Left Over

Eugene Strite served as President and C.E.O. of L & S Stone Inc., with branches in Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Florida. He is the pioneer of World Harvest Outreach, a non-denominational, multi-cultural church. Eugene is also the founder of Sent Forth Ministries which trains and equips individuals to serve on short-term mission teams in the nations.

Last month Eugene asked me to design the cover to his new book, Coins Left Over, Practical Steps to Financial Freedom. They sent me over the first three chapters and I got hooked. Informative and straight to the point. Eugene told a story of a homeless artist, that saw other homeless people and gave them the coins that he had. Later that day someone purchased a piece of art the homeless man painted, and that was the start of the mans exit out of poverty. One of the keys to gaining is giving.

Below is the process options and final cover.

  • Harvest Outreach Redesign

Harvest Outreach is a thriving church in Virginia Beach, Virginia. They asked us to redesign their logo and website. We cleaned up the old logo and website to go with the style they were looking for. We added video sermon streaming and archiving, and our SimpleWeb CMS, so they can update it at anytime.

  • Total Abandonment 2009

Last year Destiny World trusted us with designing the look and feel, and the marketing material for Total Abandonment Youth Conference. They called on us again to help make this year a success like last. This year, we have branded the Conference and every year from now on will have their own theme. This years is called One Thing. It is about the one thing I desire is a burning presence of God in my life. Here is what we came up with, a simple yet intricate typography design that explains it in one glance.

Here is a look at the website:

  • Design History

I am always interested in the History of logos and design. Here are two articles that I find very interesting.
